Classic Chianti from Tuscany’s Florentine Hills
From our good friends Ric and Jocelyn of The Wine Coaches comes this exceptional offering – twelve bottles of a vintage 2006 Chianti, produced by the Sant’ Appiano Winery in Tuscany. The vineyard is located between Florence and Sienna and dates back to the early 14th century. The wine is made predominantly of Sangiovese and is fermented in traditional glazed cement tanks then aged for six to seven months in oak barrels, and finally, a further three months in the bottle. Decanting is recommended. The year 2006 was classified as an outstanding vintage in Italy, and this wine may be consumed now, or cellared, to be enjoyed over the next three to five years. What an addition to your cellar or your table!

At Headwaters, we provide nearly 100 dialysis treatments each week for our patients, all of whom are in end-stage kidney failure. The process lasts for three hours and is performed three times a week, helping patients not just to live reasonably productive lives – but to live, period.

It’s not pleasant to think about – but cystoscopy can be the key to diagnosing and curing a worrisome and embarrassing problem.
The flexible cystoscope is a narrow, flexible, tube-like telescopic camera that is carefully passed up into the bladder. The cycstoscopy can help find out what is causing recurrent urinary tract infections, incontinence or blood in a patient’s urine. It also allows the doctor to examine the bladder wall very closely for unusual growths, ulcers or stones.
